Senior Partner and Head of the Family & Children Law Team. Pauline graduated in Law from the University of Exeter in 1986, the College of Law, Chancery Lane in 1987 and qualified in 1989 when she joined the firm as an assistant solicitor.
Since her arrival and upon attaining partnership in 1992, Pauline has spearheaded the major expansion of the Family Team which had a long established reputation in the local area and beyond, for pioneering domestic violence work and complex matrimonial financial disputes, but little by way of recognised expertise in the field of children’s law. As a result of Pauline’s expertise and leadership, the firm is now recognised as one of the leading national suppliers of legal services in relation to all aspects of children’s law on both a private and publicly funded basis.
Pauline is a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel and regularly acts for children, parents and other family members in care proceedings covering the whole spectrum of child protection cases, including cases of non-accidental injury and family homicide. She is also an all issues qualified Collaborative Lawyer.
As an experienced Solicitor-Advocate, Pauline undertakes advocacy for clients at all levels of the Family Justice System, including the High Court. She is an Executive Member of the Association of Lawyers for Children and a member of the Lesbian & Gay Lawyers Association.
