Marilyn qualified as a solicitor in 1994 and has had a successful career in working in London and Kent, before joining Blackfords. She is a member of the Law Society's Children Panel and Family Law Panel as well as Resolutions (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association), dealing with her cases in a conciliatory way whilst ensuring her clients best interests are met.

She has expertise dealing with highly complex cases in the following areas:
