Our General Family Law team is headed by Pauline Troy who is a highly experienced solicitor and is a recognised expert in this field by her status as a Resolutions Accredited Specialist, a Resolutions Trained All Issues Mediator and a Collaborative Lawyer.

This team deals with all issues that arise in the context of family breakdown whether between married partners, cohabittees or civil partners namely:

• cohabittee disputes
• dissolution of civil partnerships
• money and property disputes
• pension sharing
• domestic violence
• injunctions

The Team also deals with private disputes between parents relating to their children namely

• residence
• contact
• parental responsibility
• prohibited steps order
• special guardianship

We therefore embrace the principles of Collaborative Law and mediation and subscribe to the best principles of good practice as recommended by Resolution (formerly the Solicitors’ Family Law Association).
