• Claire O'Rourke has worked in the field of child law since 2002.

• Claire specialises in law relating to children, in particular disputes between parents and care proceedings, and has significant experience of working with people with learning difficulties and mental health problems. Claire has a keen interest in all law relating to children and also has experience of dealing with child abduction, adoption, special guardianship and special educational needs.

• Claire is a member of the Association of Lawyers for Children and is currently on the Executive Committee. Claire is sub-editor of the bi-annual Association of Lawyers for Children Newsletter and takes an active role on the Committee.
