- Adrian is in charge of the Crown Court department of the General Crime Team and is our lead Solicitor-Advocate. Adrian studied at the University of Manchester and City University before becoming the pupil of renowned silk Michel Massih QC and qualifying as a barrister. He then went on to practice at the Criminal Bar in London and Manchester before re-qualifying as a solicitor.
- Prior to establishing Francis Lovett which merged to form Blackfords LLP, Adrian worked at the large and prominent practices of Jones Maidment Wilson and headed up the criminal department of Rowlands in Manchester, the latter having participated in the Legal Aid Block Contracting Pilot Scheme.
- He has been involved in numerous high profile criminal cases. Having obtained Higher Rights as a solicitor, Adrian has gone on to act for clients before the Crown Court and the Court of Appeal as well as being led on murder and other serious cases.
- Adrian's experience includes both prosecuting and defending for the DTI, appearing before Courts Martial both in the UK and abroad, acting for the Strangeways rioters, high profile frauds, money laundering, conspiracy, drugs, violence, terrorism and sexual cases. He is a member of the VHCC panel.
